Clubs

Opportunities for children to extend their learning beyond the classroom are very important; they enable children to flourish and achieve in activities beyond academic learning. We ensure that we offer a wide range of extra curricular activities to facilitate this.

We encourage our children to develop their interests and have hobbies and activities to pursue out of school. We ensure that they have the chance to become involved in clubs and extra- curricular activities whenever possible.

Clubs take place before school, during lunchtimes and after school. They are run by external agencies, some by school staff and our older children are also supported to run clubs for our younger children.

We have strong links with local secondary schools and their students often run clubs during the school day. QE Boys regularly visit us and run computer and maths clubs.

There are a variety of different clubs, including many sports, drama, art music and languages. If parents or children approach us, we will always look to investigate and introduce new clubs if they are financially viable.
