Meaningful student involvement is the process of engaging students as partners in every facet of school change for the purpose of strengthening their commitment to education, community & democracy.

Pupil Voice is very important to us at Christ Church School. We welcome the views of our pupils and encourage them to take an active role in the running of the school.

Pupils are encouraged to express their opinions and ideas on identifying ways to ensure that our school is forward thinking and continuing challenging to excel in all aspects of school life.

There is a School Council which regularly meets with the Senior Leadership team. There are elected representatives from each class from Reception to Year 6. There are Y6 secretaries and minutes are taken and passed back to classes by the reps.

There are four House Captains and their Vice- Captains who organise and run events for their houses.

There are Whole School Conferences each half term which involve every child. There is a theme relevant to the whole school which is explored in detail by all the pupils in mixed age groupings.
There is pupil representation on our Worship Committee which meets with our vicar to organise pupil input into our Church services and also help support children to lead the weekly class assemblies.

Pupils are encouraged to write articles for our weekly newsletter and the Y6 children run a termly School Magazine.
Key Stage 2 pupils are encouraged to run clubs for younger children and there are a variety of clubs organised and run by the children. These include dance clubs, art clubs and ICT clubs.

Pupils take an active role in their learning and lead the summer Parent Consultation, discussing their learning and setting targets to ensure good progress. They also contribute to their annual school report to parents.
