D&T Roman Catapults

Year 3 were lucky to have a design and technology teacher from The Totteridge Academy come and do a D&T lesson with the, to make catapults. The children enjoyed an afternoon of hammering and sticking to create their working wooden catapults. They then enjoyed the trying them out with small stones.

Chinese New Year

To celebrate and learn about Chinese New Year the children in Year 3 got to try on a Chinese dragon costume. The children enjoyed trying it on and learning about how Chinese people celebrate.  


European cities

In Geography today year 3 used an interactive online map to locate countries in Europe, they labelled their capital cities on to a map.       The children also made capital city chatter boxes to test each other on different capitals around Europe.
