Fundraising for Food Packing event (29th March)

Fundraising for Food Packing event (29th March)

There have been various fundraising events by both parents and children at school as well as in church. The support through these events has been overwhelming and we are so grateful for your kindness and generosity. Thank you very much.

Slime sale:

Congratulations to Susannah and Silvia in Year 6 who have raised a staggering £231.11 towards our Feed the Hungry project from selling slime! We were so impressed with their efforts and they have lived out our school values in every way. The slime project took weeks of planning and far exceeded theirs, and our, expectations; we never imagined that slime would be so popular.

Sponsored Walk:

On Monday children took part in the sponsored walk to raise money for Feed the Hungry and the School Playgrounds. It was a cold, windy day but with perseverance and determination they managed to walk laps of our whole school and many of them walked the maximum number of laps. Thank you for your support through sponsorship. So Far we have raised over £3,000 and the sponsorship money is still flowing in!

Car Wash:

The Family fun event with car wash raised £544.  The children enjoyed an art and craft room with various activities including slime making and bath bomb explosions!  Refreshments and cakes and face painting were all enjoyed by all. The car wash was a great success with volunteers washing and polishing as you drove through the church car park with music playing. There were dancing car washers to be seen, including our very own vicar.

The local churches hold a women’s event together called ‘Glow’ where we have an opportunity to hear faith stories, enjoy live music and make new friends. Their last event raised £108 for our Feed the Hungry project!
